We are very proud to present this circa 1917 original telescope made by Carl Zeiss. Possible one of the best scopes ever made.

The Carl Zeiss company, named after its founder, was formed in 1846 as a German manufacturer of optical systems and rightly has a well deserved reputation for being one of the best optics makers in the world.

The telescope was the first optical invention to radically change the way we looked at the world and stars around use. Telescopes became more technologically advanced as scientists and dedicated amateurs made ever more discoveries. This Antique Zeiss Telescope is one of the finest examples of this, it has a turret style lens offering x33 x52 x72 magnification with crystal clear optics. The highest quality brass was used allowing for precision tubing to mount the optics.

This Antique Zeiss Telescope is in superb condition it has been professionally polished and serviced by our English based optic team who have over 40 years experience The cradle and height adjuster are completely original with a bespoke stand made to show the incredible piece of.

As well as being visually stunning the telescope is completely functional, the wide front lens allowing an incredible amount of light to enter the scope. The cradle system and turret magnification options makes it fully adjustable and easy to use.
