Aviation and Binoculars presents a set of Carl Zeiss Cold War Berlin Wall Periscope Binoculars.
The Carl Zeiss company, named after its founder, was formed in 1846 as a German manufacturer of optical systems and rightly has a well deserved reputation for being one of the best optics makers in the world. These are a pristine set of Zeiss 10×50 of Cold War Berlin Wall periscope binoculars. They were designed during the height of the Cold War for observational purposes to scan the territory between the East and West Berlin border. They are a precision piece of optics with multi adjustment points. Fully serviced and mounted and a bespoke adjustable wooden stand.
Stunning rare conversational piece that was active on the front lines of history. Who knows where it was in use on the Berlin Wall on its momentous fall in 1989
It comes with its travel storage box and covers.
Here at Aviation and Binoculars we pride ourselves on having one of the widest selection of historically interesting, functional optics available to purchase. Check out the full range of big eye binoculars including the Rare WW2 German Zeiss (SOMET) 25×100 big eye binoculars and Zeiss 7×50 U Boat Kriegsmarine binoculars.
