Spectacular set of Russian second world war era trench periscope/rangefinders. Also know as ‘Rabbit Ears’ or ‘Donkey Ear Binoculars’, they were designed for observation by the Red Army of enemy lines from cover and n safety without having to expose a soldiers head to fire.
The precision optics perfectly captures breath taking sunsets, spectacular horizons and the blue majesty of the sea. These original near mint condition military grade binoculars are mounted on their original stand. They continue to be used by Eastern block countries through out the Cold War.
The crisp angle of the eyepieces is distinct shape and the top sight form a striking silhouette.
They come fully boxed with all the accessories and leather cap for the top lenses.
