Aviation and Binoculars present a set of Soviet Cold War Border Guard Big Eye Binoculars.

A wonderful pair of “big-eye” Soviet Border Guard binoculars intended for medium to long-range observation of air and ground targets and the determination of their angular co-ordinates. The movement is swift and accurate due to the twin handles right & left controlled by a friction clutch and thumb stud firmly locking the action when released..

With large  magnification and a wide lens (15 times magnification x 110 mm front optic lens to the front for a wide field of view and to allow more light in) this is an incredibly decorative piece of interior design whilst being fully functional.

Dimensions: maximum height 190cm, minimum height 130cm, binocular head is 38cm deep and 30cm wide.
