Vintage Japanese Big Eye Naval binoculars 15 x 80 – numbered and stamped (Nikon) TOKO
Aviation and Binoculars are pleased to present a set of World War 2 Japanese 15X80 Toko naval big eye observation binoculars.
The stunning Japanese marine optics have 4º incline eyepieces and are marked ‘Toko 15 X 4º-, No. 2621’. They are made by Toko (Nikon) and were extensively used by the Japanese Imperial fleet during the war. Due to the size of the empire the Japanese heavily invested in making the highest quality optics in the world. This style benefits from having 15 times magnification with a 80 mm wide front optic opening allowing for an incredibly wide field of view (15X80). Each eye piece can be adjusted for precision focusing (plus catering for any eye strength if glasses are worn). The straight line of sight offered by the Japanese binocular design makes these an easy to use practical set of binoculars perfect for a coastal view, star gazing or corporate setting.
The naval binoculars are in superb condition and been professionally polished and serviced by our English based optic team who have over 40 years experience The cradle mount is easily adjustable and mounted on a bespoke wooden stand.
Regarded as some of the finest optics in the world for their visual clarity and wide field of view, we are based on the South Coast of England and these are our go to day to day set of binoculars.
An outstanding set of binoculars that look truly stunning.
Here at Aviation and Binoculars we pride ourselves on having one of the widest selection of historically interesting, functional optics available to purchase. Check out the full range of big eye binoculars including the Japanese Fuji Meibo 25×150 and a beautiful Zeiss circa 1917 Telescope.
