Battle of Britain Hawker Hurricane P3864 mk1 control column that crashed on the 30th April 1941.
Aviation and Binoculars are proud to present a 100% authentic control column from the Hawker Hurricane that crashed in Bishop’s Stortford, Essex. It was being flown by Sgt. Eric John Easton who was on a training flight and is believed to have passed out due to an oxygen failure.
The spade grip is mounted on top of the column which is a genuine WW2 in keeping grip with firing button and brake lever. The column has been mounted on a bespoke wooden stand.
A brass plaque will be supplied with the control column and can be fitted as required to the wooden base.
This is your chance to own a true piece of history.
Here at Aviation and Binoculars we pride ourselves on having one of the widest selection of historically military collection items available to purchase. Check out the full range of collectables including the US Army polished TOW missile and rare ME109 Pilots grip.
