German WW2 Binoculars

Aviation and Binoculars present a set of polished German WW2 Binoculars made by Zeiss. They are 12×60 Flak Binoculars and long handled. The Optics are called long handled due to the extended handles added onto the side of the cradle for ease and style.

These are some of the finest German wartime optics, made by Zeiss and used as an anti-aircraft rangefinder on land and ships to track incoming aircraft. The German lens craftsmen were historically among the finest in the world. During the second World War, Zeiss was one of the principal manufacturers to the German forces.

They are fitted with original variable light shades for use in all daytime conditions and have the later war style rain shield. They have exceptional optics that have been professionally cleaned and serviced. The 12 indicates the degree of magnification and the 60 indicates the 6 cm optic width.

The Binoculars are mounted on a purpose built cradle and high quality wooden stand.
