RAF Harrier Jump Jet rocket pod table
The British Hawker Siddeley Harrier also know as the Harrier Jump Jet, due to its vertical take off capability, is a fast attack aircraft used by the Royal Airforce, Fleet Air Arm and United States Marine Corp (USMC). It was first introduced in 1969 and served around the world over the next five decades with the USMC still retaining a number of active aircraft.
One of its main underwing armaments giving us some of the most iconic images available was the SNEB 68 mm rocket pod system.
The SNEB rocket is an unguided air-to-surface 68 mm (2.7 in) rocket projectile and fired a 18 rocket pod under wing system.
We have re purposed the front of the Rocket pod to create a stunning set of tables, they can be purchased together or separately (price shown is per unit). They have been finished in chrome and a circular toughened glass table added to make them a stunning ‘upcycled’ piece of engineering furniture. These would look incredible in any home or corporate location.
Here at Aviation and Binoculars we pride ourselves on having one of the widest selection of historically interesting artefacts available to purchase. Check out the full range of aircraft and military related items including a polished British Mk8 Torpedo table and a Polished Rapier missile.
