German WW2 Panzer IV hull MG34 ball mount
Aviation and Binoculars is pleased to present a German WW2 Panzer IV hull MG34 ball mount.
The Panzer IV was a Krupp produced German medium tank made between 1939–1945. It was the main tank of the German army going through a number of upgrades as the war progressed and served in all theatres of war.
As well as its main gun it also had other firepower including the MG34 which was mounted inside the tank and fitted to the hull via a ball socket mount. These are extremely rare, this example was recovered post war in France, it has been gently polished to remove surface rust whilst retaining its original patina.
Here at Aviation and Binoculars we love unique and rare military items, this fits the bill nicely and is certainly the only one we have seen. Really interesting piece and a great talking point.
Here at Aviation and Binoculars we pride ourselves on having one of the widest selection of historically interesting artefacts available to purchase. Check out the full range of military collectables including an authentic Hurricane control column and Messerschmitt ME109 pilots grip.
