Aviation and Binoculars is pleased to present a genuine piece of rare history.   This is a HMS Superb Nuclear Powered Submarine Steering Helm. When you hear the order to ‘dive dive dive’ this is what the crew use to steer and dive the nuclear powered submarine. It has been professionally polished and mounted on a bespoke stand to properly display this unique piece of Royal Naval history. We have even sourced the Naval ID card to prove authenticity.

HMS Superb was a United Kingdom Royal Naval submarine that was part of the nuclear powered Cold War Swiftsure class. It was launched in 1974 and was the first British submarine to visit the Artic Ocean and sail under the polar ice caps.

After a long and distinguished deployment as our front line naval deterrence it was decommissioned in September 2008.
