WW2 German MP40 machine gun mounted on Panzer 4 track

Aviation and Binoculars is proud to present a WW2 German MP40 machine gun mounted on Panzer 4 track. This is one of most impressive historical display items we have designed.

We have manage to source a relic condition German WW2 MP40 ‘schmeisser’ machine Gun, which in our view is the most iconic Second World War German firearm used. It was originally designed for use by German Paratroopers and mechanised infantry and quickly became the mainstay light machine used in all theatres of operation due to its accuracy and reliability. It held a magazine containing 9x19mm Parabellum cartridges with a rate of fire of 500 rounds a minute.

This machine pistol was recovered in Latvia in the famous Courland Pocket, the site of the last German military stronghold of the war.

The MP40 has received a sympathetic clean and light polish to fully show off its design. Although deactivated by reason of age and condition we have obtained an official deactivation certificate.

The machine gun has been professionally mounted on a tank track from a Panzer 4 Tank and uses two K98 bayonets to complete the display.

Everything is 100% genuine Second World War.

This is a great statement piece for display as a man cave feature or talking point as a military collectible.
